Bulb is a small blogging platform based on Solana https://x.com/bulbappio
It has mobile and web apps and both long form (blogs) and short form (threads) content.
Every account has a Solana wallet and you can promote directly on Bulb via their promote feature (boost blogs and threads, run in feed and sidebar ads all with the native token)
Whilst small, the Bulb team have been delivering consistently these last 3 years and have built up an impressive product given they’ve never caught much of the Solana hype (socialfi is very tough).
Drift should start a Bulb account (they have a Solana protocol onboard program with perks), cross post announcements from the Discord to the account. Maybe some select X posts can reposted.
Run some native ads on Bulb and do a couple, of months of random DRIFT rewards for Drift
content and engaging with the Drift account. You can easily track overall engagement via the community management tools and it’s easy to reward users as their wallet is on their Bulb profile.
Bulb also run writing contests (think SuperTeam) for Solana protocols, funded with BULB so Drift could look into doing one or two of those.
It’s a small platform right now but it’s 100% addressable market due to every user having a Solana wallet and they are a proper long term builder on Solana so supporting them would be also be a worthwhile endeavour.
Added to all that, all the current Drift users can get accounts as all you need is a Solana wallet. Not a bad back up to the increasingly unpredictable X.
