I’ve been brainstorming ways that can accelerate Drift’s momentum and came up with a few ideas to spark a growth flywheel — where community engagement, education, and product enhancements feed into each other to increase adoption. I realize teams aren’t short on suggestions, but I hope we, as a community, can assist in prioritizing efforts and even lend a hand where possible.
With that in mind, I’d like to propose the following for discussion with the DAO to fuel growth. These suggestions aim to expand our community, educate, reward engagement, and enhance the trading experience while advancing Drift’s mission in DeFi.
Growth
- DAO Working Groups: Establish specialized working groups to focus on marketing, education, and community engagement to drive targeted growth initiatives. I see a proposal recently passed on the MetaDAO, but I haven’t heard anything about it yet.
- Content Rewards: Incentivize users to create high-quality tutorials, analyses, or memes about Drift with token rewards to boost visibility.
- Trading Bootcamp: Create a short, intensive program to onboard new traders with hands-on challenges and rewards.
- Trading University: Develop a structured educational platform with beginner-to-advanced trading courses, strategies, certifications, and expert-led workshops, leveraging Drift’s tools to build a skilled user base.
Product
- Trading Journal: Integrate a feature for users to track trades, analyze performance, and refine strategies.
- Copy Trade: Enable a copy trading feature where users can replicate successful traders’ strategies, offering both passive income for experienced traders and learning opportunities for new traders.
These ideas are meant to spark action and conversation. By collaborating as a community and helping prioritize, refine, and implement these initiatives, Drift can continue to grow and thrive. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
